And so the CEo of Tulus Fikir Animation decided to explore the renowned event of MIPCOM. Along with his animation captain, the 13 hour flight journey with some 20kilos of brochures, was made.
First thing first, we started our mission by attending the mipjunior event, which was held 2 days prior to MIPCOM. MiPJunior is where all the animation (programmes) for children were being showcased and screened on computers. Registered buyers would go around and key in comments in which they think they would like to see more of. We, as the content provider, then would be able to contact them later. Much like the comment function on youtube.
MIPCOM started! and the bright yellow /orange Malaysian Pavilion, co-organised by MDeC, Finas and SKMM seems to be impressive, but then again, every booth and pavilion here was impressive.
And after a few hectic days, it was a messy 30 hours + journey home.
